The European Union’s Legal Personality in International Law – Character, Structure, and Scope

In this paper, the author considers issues of one’s legal personality in international law general, with emphasis on European Union. The focus discussion is character and structure Union’s its peculiarities as a unique, juridical person. Special attention was given to notion EU sui generis subject law, along scope activities supranational elements. As pointed out these are numerous. Firstly, issue status within order analysed and, further on, elements EU’s capacity person also looked at. By conducting discussion, conclusions were reached regarding determination (primarily current structure), which undoubtedly exists framework order, but specific unique many respects.
